Sri Krishna Ravulapalli
( Broadcom )
Sri Krishna is a Senior AI and cloud research engineer with over 18 years of software product development experience spanning AIOps, Observability, Agentic AI, data platforms, and enterprise cloud applications. He currently works as an R&D Engineer 4 at Broadcom (Mainframe Software Division), focusing on AI-driven observability and anomaly detection for large-scale mainframe systems used by major financial institutions. And also on enabling data transfers from mainframe to distributed platforms and public clouds. He recently led a global Broadcom hackathon team to a silver award in December 2025.
Sri Krishna is a certified Google Cloud Professional Architect and Data Engineer with extensive experience in building RAG-based interactive applications. He also led Master Data Management and Data Catalog platforms that underpin airline analytics, designing cloud-native data pipelines on Google Cloud (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Composer, Airflow) and exposing governed data through APIs running on Kubernetes. This work sits at the intersection of data engineering and AI readiness, providing high-quality, curated data to downstream analytics and machine learning workloads. He also led the migration of decades-old on-premises Teradata workloads to BigQuery, architecting the ingestion and change data capture pipelines that support large airline customers.
He holds a Master of Technology in Computer Applications from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), with research focused on the Semantic Web. His master's thesis published paper at IICAI-07 explored converting unstructured text to semantic data for enhanced search capabilities. He has since been engaged in advancing Semantic Web concepts. Currently, Sri Krishna works at Broadcom as an R&D Software Engineer 4, focusing on modernizing mainframe applications using AI techniques. His work aims to enhance software product maintenance and support through Agentic AI advancements.
