Anurag Reddy Ekkati is a Sr. Principal Architect and Software Engineer at Palo Alto Networks, specializing in cloud infrastructure security, digital certificate management, observability, and AI-driven cybersecurity automation. At Palo Alto Networks, Mr. Ekkati leads the development of a highly reliable Digital Certificate Management Platform that replaced fragmented tools, eliminated certificate-related outages, and delivers millions in annual savings through automated issuance, renewal, and compliance tracking. Mr. Ekkati also leads the architecture of an internal observability platform that expanded metrics, tracing, and logging coverage while reducing reliance on external tools, accelerating diagnosis and remediation across microservices.
Mr. Ekkati has authored and filed 6 USPTO patent applications in security and cloud infrastructure management and mentors engineers at various levels. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and ACM, and an active contributor, serving in conference roles from reviewer to TPC member, including at flagship venues such as the IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy (IEEE S&P). He also serves as a reviewer for prominent publishers such as Springer Nature and has contributed as an editor and author to around six books with leading publishers including Elsevier, Springer Nature, CRC Press, and Emerald Publishing.
He earned his M.S. in Computer Engineering from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and served for two years as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Rutgers.
