Vivek Kumar

Dr. Vivek Kumar is currently a Research Scientist at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. Prior to this, he was a Senior Researcher at the Universität der Bundeswehr München (University of the Federal Armed Forces), Munich, Germany. Driven by a passion for AI-driven mental health research, Dr. Kumar has made significant contributions at the intersection of AI and psychology, particularly in developing responsible AI systems. In 2019, he was awarded the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship under the EU's Horizon 2020 ITN program PhilHumans. He conducted research as a Marie Curie Fellow at Philips Research, Netherlands, and the University of Cagliari, Italy, culminating in a doctorate in 2023. Beyond his research, Dr. Kumar is an active speaker, mentor, and serves as a reviewer for leading conferences in NLP/ML, including IJCAI, ACL, ECML-PKDD, ECAI, EMNLP, ACM-SAC, and ICASSP, and top-tier journals of IEEE, Springer, and Elsevier.
