Dr. Gajendra Pratap Singh is an Assistant Professor at the School of Computational and Integrative Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India. He holds a Ph.D. from Delhi College of Engineering, Faculty of Technology (University of Delhi, Delhi) and has expertise in graph theory, Petri Net theory, data science, network optimization, machine learning, ancient Indian and Vedic mathematics. Dr. Singh is renowned for proposing the theory of Boolean and Binary Petri Nets and has published over 60 research papers and edited a book. He has delivered more than 100 expert talks and attended over 150 conferences. With significant project involvement, he is the Principal Investigator for multiple research projects funded by prestigious organizations such as Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) (Now, Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF))-DST, Govt. of India and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). He has mentored numerous students at various academic levels (PDF, PhD, M.Tech., M.Sc., B.Sc., etc.) and plays key roles at JNU, including as Warden, Associate NCC officer and National Cadet Corps course Coordinator. Dr. Singh has received several awards, including the Young Scientist Award in 2017 for his contributions to research.
