Raman Sharma is a seasoned BIOS/UEFI Firmware Architect and Embedded Systems Expert with over 17 years of experience in secure firmware development for enterprise platforms. He specializes in low-level hardware-software integration, threat modeling, and standards compliance (TCG, UEFI, DMTF, ACPI, SPDM). A Senior IEEE member, he actively contributes to IEEE P2929 and Zero Trust Security standards. Raman holds 14 patents in platform and firmware security, has reviewed over 70 international research papers, and co-authored the forthcoming book Understanding of Datacenter. He currently represents Dell in the UEFI Test Working Group, advancing firmware validation and interoperability.
