Dr. V. Jeyalakshmi is currently working as a Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering, College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai. She has received both of her B.E and M.E degrees from the Madurai Kamaraj University and Ph.D degree in information and Communication from Anna University, Chennai. She has more than 25 years of teaching experience. She has published more than 43 papers in journals, 35 papers in conferences and 4 book chapters. She was a Course Coordinator for MOOC Course “Digital Electronics and Microprocessor” in SWAYAM Portal and more than 45 video lectures in Microprocessor and Matlab delivered to DTH channel of SWAYAM funded by MHRD at EMMRC Chennai, 2 live video lectures (Digital Electronics and VLSI Design) in Web content development of Edusat in Anna University. Her research interests are Digitization, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, VLSI Design and testing, Signal Processing, Mobile Communication, Networking and security. She wrote a text Book on, Internet of Things - An Easy Hands On approach in IK International Pvt Ltd.
