3. Nomination and Eligibility

  • Nominations may be self-nominated or proposed by peers, institutions, or organizations.
  • Nominees must demonstrate significant contributions relevant to the award category.
  • All nominations must be submitted via email along with the candidate's detailed CV and two supporting reference letters from well-known academicians, employers, or fellow members of reputed professional societies such as IEEE, SCRS, ACM, etc.

4. Selection and Evaluation Process

The selection of awardees follows a rigorous, transparent, and multi-stage evaluation process, ensuring fairness and credibility.

Stage 1: Preliminary Screening

  • Verification of eligibility and completeness of the nomination.
  • Compliance with award guidelines and category relevance.

Stage 2: Technical and Qualitative Evaluation

Each eligible nomination is evaluated using predefined parameters, including:

  • Innovation and originality
  • Technical excellence and depth
  • Practical/industrial relevance (where applicable)
  • Research quality and contribution to the field
  • Impact (academic, industrial, or societal)
  • Leadership and professional influence

Stage 3: Final Review and Approval

  • Consolidated scores and qualitative assessments are reviewed.
  • Final decisions are made through committee deliberation.
  • The committee's decision shall be final and binding.

6. Selection Committee

The Scrutiny and Evaluation Committee comprises:

The committee members are selected by SCRS to ensure domain expertise, neutrality, and ethical evaluation.

7. Conflict of Interest and Ethics

  • Committee members must declare any conflict of interest.
  • Members with conflicts will abstain from evaluating the concerned nomination.
  • SCRS follows strict ethical standards to maintain transparency and integrity.

Soft Computing Research Society (SCRS)

Established in 2013 and headquartered in Delhi, India, SCRS is a non-profit professional society dedicated to advancing research and innovation in soft computing and allied areas, involving academicians, researchers, industry professionals, and students worldwide.

9. Award Presentation and Recognition

  • Awards will be formally presented during the 2nd Round Table Meet of Academia-Industry Leaders on Viksit Bharat@2047.
  • Each awardee will receive a Certificate of Achievement.
  • Selected awardees may be featured on the SCRS website and conference communications.
