At SCRS Hackathon (IDEATHON 2025), we ensure a fair and rigorous evaluation process by selecting esteemed judges from both industry and academia. Our panel consists of experts with deep domain knowledge and experience in innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship.

Who Are Our Judges?
  • Industry Leaders – Professionals from top tech companies, startups, and venture capital firms.
  • Academic Experts – Researchers and professors specializing in AI, cybersecurity, fintech, healthcare, and more.
  • Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) – Specialists in emerging technologies like Web3, blockchain, and sustainable energy.
  • Investors & Entrepreneurs – Visionaries who understand market trends and product viability.
Selection Criteria for Judges
Criteria Icon1. Expertise & Domain Knowledge
  • Must have significant experience in one or more of the hackathon themes.
  • Should have a strong background in technology, business, or research.
Criteria Icon2. Industry & Academic Recognition
  • Senior professionals from reputed organizations, startups, or think tanks.
  • Professors or researchers with published work and contributions to their field.
Criteria Icon3. Experience in Innovation & Entrepreneurship
  • Must have worked on groundbreaking projects, patents, or startups.
  • Experience in evaluating startups, research grants, or hackathons is preferred.
Criteria Icon4. Fairness & Impartiality
  • Must demonstrate integrity and the ability to provide unbiased evaluations.
  • Should not have direct affiliations with participating teams.
Criteria Icon5. Commitment to the Judging Process
  • Ability to review projects, provide constructive feedback, and engage with participants.
  • Availability during the hackathon’s judging period for presentations and discussions.
How We Appoint Judges
  • Invitation & Nomination – We invite experienced professionals and accept nominations based on merit.
  • Expert Panel Review – A selection committee evaluates candidates to ensure a balanced and diverse panel.
  • Conflict of Interest Check – Judges must disclose any affiliations with participating teams.
  • Final Confirmation – Appointed judges receive detailed guidelines and participate in an orientation session.
