Abstract:

Medical technology organizations operate in an increasingly complex regulatory environment shaped by global supply chains, evolving compliance expectations, and heightened scrutiny from regulatory authorities. Traditional enterprise resource planning systems struggle to keep pace with dynamic regulatory changes, often relying on manual reconfiguration and reactive compliance practices that introduce inefficiencies and compliance gaps. These limitations constrain organizational agility, slow innovation, and increase operational risk in highly regulated medical technology markets.
This presentation introduces Agentic ERP as a transformative architectural paradigm designed to address these challenges through autonomous regulatory governance. Agentic ERP leverages a coordinated network of intelligent digital agents embedded within enterprise systems to continuously monitor regulatory changes, interpret evolving requirements, and autonomously reconfigure compliance processes. Using natural language processing, machine learning, semantic reasoning, and distributed ledger technologies, these agents translate complex regulatory texts into actionable enterprise workflows while maintaining complete auditability and transparency. The system embeds compliance directly into operational decision-making rather than treating it as a downstream obligation.
The presentation further examines core functional capabilities including self-evolving regulatory intelligence, multi-agent collaboration, synthetic audit simulation, ethical decision-making, and natural language interaction. Implementation scenarios drawn from medical technology contexts demonstrate how Agentic ERP enhances post-market surveillance, supplier quality management, new product introduction, manufacturing deviation handling, and regulatory inspection preparedness. These scenarios illustrate continuous compliance readiness, proactive risk identification, and coordinated cross-functional responses without reliance on episodic preparation cycles.
Beyond operational improvements, Agentic ERP reshapes strategic and organizational outcomes. Autonomous compliance adaptation enables scalable multi-regional governance, preserves institutional regulatory knowledge, and strengthens regulatory confidence through continuous inspection readiness. By integrating ethical reasoning into routine enterprise decisions, the framework aligns regulatory compliance with broader stakeholder values, including patient safety, sustainability, and governance transparency. This presentation positions Agentic ERP as a foundational shift in how medical technology enterprises manage regulatory complexity while sustaining innovation and trust in global markets.
