Abstract:

The use of Artificial intelligence (AI) has changed how companies use Business Intelligence (BI). There have been improvements in how organizations use Data Analytic, Strategic Planning, and Decision Making due to the integration of AI Technologies such as ML, NLP, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). This article shows how the use of AI technology, including ML, NLP, and RPA have been integrated into and improved BI systems by providing organizations with improved predictive and prescriptive data analytical capabilities, and automating the data processing cycle for organization’s real-time decision- making from data processed in real time. The impact of combining AI with Big Data and BI has provided organizations with higher accuracy in the insights derived from these data, enabling organizations to optimize their operational processes, mitigate risks, and gain a competitive advantage over their competitors. Early research and adoption of AI set a foundation for current and future uses of data- driven business strategies with the expectation of further Influencing the business by those businesses making future advances on the uses of AI in their businesses. The article provides readers from both academia and practice insight into the present and future implications of AI in BI.
