Talk Title:
Building Resilient Global Supply Chains with Cognitive Digital Twins and Physics-Informed AI
Abstract:
Global supply chains are becoming increasingly complex and vulnerable to demand volatility, transportation disruptions, supplier uncertainties, geopolitical events, and rapidly changing market conditions. Building resilience in such environments requires more than traditional monitoring and forecasting, it requires intelligent systems capable of continuously understanding operational conditions, anticipating disruptions, and supporting adaptive decisions.
This keynote explores how Cognitive Digital Twins (CDTs) and Physics-Informed Artificial Intelligence can enable a new generation of intelligent and resilient global supply chains. Cognitive Digital Twins extend conventional digital twins by combining real-time operational information from suppliers, warehouses, transportation networks, and retail operations with predictive intelligence and adaptive decision support. The talk will examine how Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) can further enhance this capability by incorporating operational dynamics and supply-chain constraints into machine-learning models, enabling more informed predictions of inventory fluctuations, shipment delays, and demand variations.
The session will also explore how cognitive intelligence can continuously monitor supply-chain conditions, identify emerging risks, evaluate disruption scenarios, and support adaptive responses designed to maintain operational continuity. Drawing on a global retail supply-chain context, the keynote will connect advances in AI, digital twins, predictive analytics, and intelligent systems with practical challenges in building scalable and resilient enterprise ecosystems.
Finally, the talk will discuss emerging opportunities for combining digital twins with intelligent automation, real-time data, and adaptive AI to move supply-chain management from reactive disruption response toward predictive and increasingly autonomous resilience.
