The Agentic Supply Chain: Moving from Predictive Insight to Autonomous Execution

Abstract:

The core premise of the presentation is that traditional supply chains are failing under the weight of high volatility, operational complexity, and fragmented data, which forces human teams into a constant state of "reactive firefighting". While predictive AI offers forecasts and alerts, it still relies on humans to make decisions. The solution is transitioning to Agentic AI, which operates on a continuous "sense-plan-act-learn" loop to execute autonomous decisions in real-time. This shift allows supply chain professionals to transition away from manual reconciliation and exception-chasing, and instead focus on strategic network design, supplier relationship management, and governance.

Profile:

I am a Senior Product Leader in agentic AI-driven supply chain automation with experience leading multi-billion-dollar operational systems used at enterprise scale. I specialize in architecting autonomous coordination frameworks that improve operational efficiency, enable secure vendor collaboration, and reduce cost-to-serve in complex global environments. My work bridges deep technical innovation with real-world results — combining large-scale automation, practical AI, and systems design. I have published peer-reviewed research on supply chain and AI topics, served as a judge for international innovation awards, and peer reviewed scholarly work in the fields of machine learning and operations.
I am passionate about shaping how AI reshapes supply chain practice and enabling systems that not only automate decisions but optimize them collaboratively and securely.
