Exploring the Intersection of Microservices and Banking Security

Abstract:

Microservices architecture is transforming financial services by enhancing scalability, agility, and resilience. However, it also introduces security challenges, particularly in inter-service communication, data integrity, and anomaly detection. This study explores how financial institutions can leverage microservices to strengthen security while addressing risks such as artifact anomalies that could compromise system integrity. By implementing robust security measures, including API gateways and Zero Trust models, banks can fortify their digital infrastructure and ensure compliance. This paper provides insights into best practices for securing microservices in banking and mitigating emerging cybersecurity threats.
