Securing Cloud-Based Robotics Platforms Using AI-Driven Access and Anomaly Detection
Abstract:
The integration of robotics with cloud infrastructure has enabled scalable, real-time automation across industries, but it also introduces critical security challenges. As robotic platforms increasingly rely on cloud-based control, data exchange, and collaborative intelligence, traditional access control and monitoring methods are no longer sufficient. This talk explores how AI-driven security mechanisms — including intelligent access control, anomaly detection, and behavioral analytics — can safeguard cloud-connected robotic systems. We will discuss the application of machine learning models to detect unusual access patterns, prevent unauthorized control signals, and ensure secure communication across cloud-robotic interfaces. Real-world use cases will be presented, illustrating how these AI-enhanced security frameworks reduce vulnerabilities and enhance operational resilience. The session aims to bridge the gap between robotics, cybersecurity, and cloud engineering by showcasing practical, scalable solutions for protecting next-generation autonomous systems.
