Abstract - Large-scale financial institutions face a widening gap between the pace of AI adoption and the maturity of the data foundations that AI systems depend on. Legacy governance models — built for static reporting and periodic audits — struggle to keep pace with real-time analytics, machine learning pipelines, and the regulatory scrutiny that accompanies them. This keynote presents the AI-Ready Data Governance Framework, an enterprise-scale approach designed to close that gap by embedding data quality, lineage, and controls directly into the data lifecycle rather than treating governance as a downstream checkpoint.

With over 20 years of experience in financial services technology, including prior roles at Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Fiserv, Discover Financial Services, and Cognizant, he specializes in AI-ready data governance, large-scale data modernization, and regulatory technology.
He is the originator of the AI-Ready Data Governance Framework, an enterprise-scale approach for embedding data quality, lineage, and controls directly into financial data pipelines to strengthen AI readiness, regulatory compliance, and fraud risk management. The framework has been applied within Truist's enterprise data transformation program, materially improving pipeline reliability and data quality outcomes while reducing manual reconciliation effort.
He is an IEEE Senior Member and a Distinguished Fellow at the Soft Computing Research Society (SCRS).
