Quantum-Augmented AI: Securing Smart Systems with Next-Gen Architectures
Abstract:
The rapid proliferation of intelligent systems in domains such as autonomous vehicles, robotics, and critical infrastructure demands architectures that are not only scalable and efficient but also inherently secure. Traditional AI methods often struggle to meet these demands due to limitations in computation, privacy, and adaptability. This keynote introduces the concept of Quantum-Augmented AI, which fuses classical AI models with quantum computing principles to overcome these limitations. By leveraging quantum-enhanced microarchitectures and privacy-preserving protocols such as federated learning and quantum key distribution, this approach enables the development of secure, energy-efficient, and real-time intelligent systems. The talk will highlight research advances in quantum-aware network-on-chip designs, adaptive AI decision-making, and their practical applications in building resilient and trustworthy smart systems of the future.
