Leading Organizational Change in the Age of Generative AI: Strategies for Culture, Leadership, and Workforce Transformation
Abstract:
As generative AI reshapes industries at an unprecedented pace, the true differentiator for successful adoption lies not in technology alone—but in how organizations manage the change it demands. This talk is based on insights from my book "Leading Organizational Change (In the Age of Generative AI)", explores a strategic approach to leading organizational change in the age of generative AI, emphasizing the intersection of leadership, culture, and workforce evolution.
Grounded in established change management models (such as Kotter’s 8 Steps and the ADKAR framework), this talk presents a practical roadmap for aligning AI initiatives with business objectives, addressing resistance, fostering a culture of innovation, and redesigning leadership roles in AI-augmented environments. Attendees will gain insights into:
1. Conducting organizational readiness assessments for AI integration
2. Building psychologically safe, adaptive teams through reskilling and upskilling
3. Creating governance frameworks for responsible and ethical AI adoption
4. Real-world case studies illustrating successful change leadership in AI transformation
This presentation will be valuable for leaders, engineers, and researchers navigating the socio-technical aspects of AI deployment. It aims to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI capabilities and the human-centered strategies required to implement them effectively at scale.
